  1. Prepare 1 cup of chickpeas (garbanzo beans )
  2. Take 6 carrots
  3. Get 6 small red potatoes
  4. Make ready 3 squash .( chayote )
  5. Take 3 tomatoes
  6. Get 3 corns
  7. Get 1/2 of onion
  8. Take 3 chiles serranos
  9. Get 4 garlic
  10. Make ready 1 celery
  11. Prepare 3 bay leaves
  12. Get 2 lb of chicken ((breast .legs ))

Steps to make grandma chicken soup:
  1. before you star cooking an hour ahead put the garbanzos to soak
  2. in a deep pot add 4 to 5litters of water medium heat
  3. add chicken to the pan and the garbanzo with the onion garlic n a tbs of salt
  4. on a clean cutting board cut the carrots celery and squash .(tomatoes in big size) and small size on the corn
  5. about 15 minutes after the chicken is been cooking add the vegetables and the bay leaves salt to taste n let it cook for about 45 minutes or till chicken is cook n tender with the vegetables

That's why we call it Grandma's Soup. Growing up the only "Chicken Noodle" Soup I ever had was Campbell's. I remember slurping those squiggly wormy noodles through the small opening left by a lost tooth. Place the chicken, water, bouillon, peppercorns and cloves in a stockpot. Grains can be good for driving away a terrible mood. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all good for helping you feel better. These foods can help you feel full for longer too, helping you feel better. Feeling famished can be a real downer! The reason these grains help your mood so much is that they are not hard for your stomach to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your blood glucose which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
