The ingredients needed to make Jollof Rice:
  1. Take 1 cup rice
  2. Prepare Meat
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp tomatoes paste
  4. Prepare 3 pepper n 1 large onion
  5. Make ready 2 tbspn grinded crayfish
  6. Take 3 tblspn of coconut oil
  7. Get 1/4 cup Water
  8. Make ready Complete mix spice
  9. Take Seasoning n salt

The classic version is cooked with long-grain rice (Uncle Ben's/Carolina's) and seasoned with Nigerian-style curry powder and dried thyme. Served with fried, ripe plantains which we call. Add the rice, mixed vegetables, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with foil and a lid.

Instructions to make Jollof Rice:
  1. Wash n perboil ur rice till tender,strain off the water n rinse.
  2. Boil ur meat,wv garlic ginger,seasonings,salt,curry,black pepper n onions
  3. Wash n grate ur pepper n half of ur onion..n keep aside
  4. Put ur coconut oil in a pot,add ur sliced onions,grated pepper,tomato paste n stir,fry for 2 mins.
  5. Add ur water,seasonings,spice,salt,crayfish,meat stock n bring to a a boil
  6. Add ur perboiled rice n stir,cover n cook till the water dries up…..
  7. Allow to cool n serve. Use a cookie cutter n make shape of ur choice. Garnished wv lettuce n perboiled salted carrots peppered meat….
