The ingredients needed to make Breakfast Delight:
  1. Take Sausage Gravy
  2. Take 12 oz Roll Pork Bacon Sausage
  3. Prepare 3 tbsp Flour
  4. Make ready 2 1/2 cup Milk
  5. Get 3/4 tbsp Salt
  6. Get 1/2 tsp Pepper
  7. Prepare Pancake Layer
  8. Prepare 1 cup Complete Pancake Mix
  9. Get 3/4 cup Water
  10. Take Egg Layer
  11. Prepare 4 large Eggs
  12. Prepare 2 tbsp Milk
  13. Take 1/4 tsp Pepper
  14. Take 1/4 tsp Salt
  15. Prepare 1/4 cup Monterey Jack Cheese

Barley breakfast delight is a nice change of pace in the hot cereal arena, made with honey, pear nectar, cinnamon, and dried cranberries. Barley is different than hot cereals. We love the texture of pearl barley. It is mild enough, with a slightly nutty flavor, to go with just about anything.

Steps to make Breakfast Delight:
  1. Pre heat oven to 350.
  2. Brown sausage in a pan on med heat. When browned, remove from heat and put 2/3 of the sausage on a paper towel to absorb the grease. Spoon out all the remaining grease except for about 3 tablespoons.
  3. Put the pan back on med heat and add the flour into the grease. Stir while it browns, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the milk, salt and pepper, stiring till thickened. You can salt and pepper to your own taste. Set the gravy aside and keep it warm.
  4. Grease a 9 inch cast iron skillet. Mix the pancake mix with the water. Divide into two portions. Poor one portion into the skillet. Sprinkle the reserved sausage over the pancake mix. Scramble the eggs with the 2 tablespoons of milk, salt and pepper. Pour over the sausage and spread evenly. Sprinkle the cheese over the eggs. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the skillet from the oven and poor the remaining pancake batter. spread evenly and bake an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Invert onto a plate. Cut the serving into 8 triangles as you would a pizza. Place one serving onto a plate and top with gravy. Stack on another serving and top again with gravy. Serve warm.
  6. Maple syrup can also be used instead of gravy or both!

We love the texture of pearl barley. It is mild enough, with a slightly nutty flavor, to go with just about anything. Cold water fish are great for eating if you want to fight depression. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are rich in DHA and omega-3 fats. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that improve the quality and the function of your brain’s gray matter. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can really help you fight depression.

Grains can be good for driving away a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all good for helping you feel happier. They help you feel full too which can really help to make your mood better. Feeling famished can be terrible! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are easy for your stomach to digest.
