Eggs, you may be surprised to find out, are wonderful at combating depression. You should be sure, though, that what you make includes the yolk. The yolk is the most crucial part of the egg in terms of helping raise your mood. Eggs, the yolks particularly, are high in B vitamins. B vitamins can genuinely help you improve your mood. Nuts, in addition to raising your mood, can be a great protein source.

These grains can help you feel full for longer too, helping you feel better. It’s not hard to feel low when you are starving! The reason these grains help your mood so much is that they are not hard to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your blood sugar which in turn kicks up your mood to a happier place.
Your mood could actually be helped by green tea. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is rich in an amino acid known as L-theanine.
