The ingredients needed to make Amla murabba:
  1. Make ready 250 gms Amla/gooseberry -
  2. Take 150 gms Jaggery -
  3. Get 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder -
  4. Get 1 tbsp Lemon juice -
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp Black salt -
  6. Get to taste Salt -
  7. Get 1/4 tsp Asafoetida -
  8. Take 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds -
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp Crushed fennel seeds -
  10. Take 1 tbsp Raisins -
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp Cashew nuts -
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp Almonds -
  13. Take 1 tbsp Chopped dry dates -
  14. Get 2 tbsp Clarified butter -

Steps to make Amla murabba:
  1. Wash the amla and pressure cook.
  2. After two whistle turn off the flame.
  3. Once cooled,remove the seeds.
  4. Add asafoetida,cumin seeds and crushed fennel seeds to crackle.
  5. Add amla and jaggery and cook in a slow flame till thick.
  6. Add red chilli powder,salt and black salt and mix well.
  7. Add lemon juice and mix well
  8. Add raisins,almonds, cashew nuts and dry dates and mix well
  9. Once cooled, keep in the air tight container.
