Steps to make Bael (Wood Apple) Murabba:
  1. Peel and cut the fruit into small pieces.
  2. Discard the pips and immerse in water for 4 hours.
  3. Drain out the water and dry for 2 hours.
  4. Put 1 cup water in sugar and prepare a syrup. Put over a slow heat till the fruit turns brown. Remove from heat.
  5. Cool and put in essence, cover the pieces of fruit with foil and put in an airtight bottle..
