  1. Prepare 1/2 cup arhar dal (tuar)
  2. Prepare 1 cup turai cut in pieces
  3. Make ready 1 medium onion chopped
  4. Get 2 green chilli chopped
  5. Make ready 2 tomatoes chopped
  6. Make ready to taste Salt
  7. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Take 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  9. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  10. Take 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  11. Take 1 pinch hing
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp oil
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp lemon juice

Steps to make Turai dal tadka:
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add oil.add cumin seeds and crackle it.add hing.now add chopped onions and saute until golden.
  2. Add green chilli chopped and chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes get soft. Add all the spices. Cook for a while.
  3. Now add dal and turai.mix and cook on high flame for 5 minutes. Add 2cup of water. Cook till 3-4 whistle.
  4. Open the lid sfter pressure release. Transfer in serving dish add 1/2tsp lemon juice and garnish with fried green chilli.
