  1. Prepare 1 kg turai / ridge gourd
  2. Get 1/2 cup chana dal / bengal gram
  3. Take 3-4 Chopped onions
  4. Prepare 5-6 garlic
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  6. Get 2 Chopped green chillies
  7. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  9. Get 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp black pepper powder
  11. Get 1 tbsp coriander powder
  12. Take to taste Salt
  13. Make ready as needed Oil
  14. Make ready as needed Water

Steps to make Turai chana dal ki Sabji:
  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai now add cumin seeds and garlic and Chopped green chilli and saute for a minute
  2. Now add chopped onions and mix it well nicely and saute for a minute
  3. Now add turai and soak chana dal and mix it well nicely
  4. Now add salt and mix it well now cover with the lid for 5 minutes
  5. After 5 minutes open the lid and mix it well now add all masala like turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and coriander powder now again cover it with lid for 5 minutes
  6. Now open the lid and mix the all masala nicely now cover the lid for 2 minutes
  7. Now open the lid and cook it well nicely now turai chana dal ki Sabji is ready to serve with chapati
